I am a pirate reenactor in my other life. I was wearing this at Age of Chivalry in Las Vegas this past weekend and shared the bottle around my guild's camp. Everyone said the same thing, "Yeah, THIS smells like a pirate's cologne!" The scent profile is literally perfect. The wood, the ambergris, the bourbon and the rest of the profile hit hard. There almost seems to be an undercurrent of gunpowder and flint as well. So, from Finn "Fingers" the Pirate I say, "AHOY! Get yerself a bottle and drive the maidens mad! Make the mates jealous! And ye be smellin' like yer own inner pirate!"

Sure you may need something lighter during the workday but when the sun goes down and you’ve washed the day off and you’re either going out…or you’re not this one is reminiscent of a hot and sultry desert night under the stars. I have a bottle on the night stand and two on deck in the closet ready to go so I never run out. I also have it on subscription since it’s about to get colder out and this one is perfect for those nights. Love it!!

Norse winter smells so piney and naturey. it's not the one I expected to like the most but it found its way to be my favorite. The longevity in my case when I'm not sweating due to it being in the colder months of the year is about 8 hours, its not as pronounced by that point but its definitely still there

When i first saw black sails it interested me, when i smelled i knew i would like it... when i applied it i think i got more buff (maybe). It's a perfect scent for me, a deep, natural rustic scent that smells more like man than cologne. A smell i want to be associated with my presence.

This is by far the best scent. A light leather scent that smells extremely masculine and better than any other scent. Wish they would bring on the shampoo, the conditioner, and all the other oil and spray choices. I would buy them all and subscribe all the time.

I LOVE the Temple Smoke "Perfume" & I always get complemented for the fragrence I'm wearing. I'm am not however a fan of the all porpuse soap of the same name. I have used a brushh & mug to shave for 50 years. So I was really looking forward to trying yours.
Major disappointment. The lather is almost noexistant. I'll give it a shot in the shower but as a shaving lather it was a serious disappointment. I also fine the constant notices & reorder emails seriously annoying. I'm a "Big Boy" & I'll reorder when Ineed to .I'm also a fan of Black Sails & Old Money..My usual go to's have always been Guerlin, Taylors of Old Bond & Casswell Massy.
Oh & the Beard Balm is excellent too. I have a very course grray Goatee & the Balm keeeps it managable & well lubricated all day. Also does wonders for the chapped lips ,

Love this scent! It's like piney and musky but has a unique smoky smell. Not quite a campfire, maybe more like incense burning at a campsite. It feels unique and not overpowering. Several ladies have already complimented me.
